Two committees of state legislators are investigating allegations that Rep. David Balmer (R-Centennial) and a lobbyist coordinated to unlawfully influence the election for Colorado House Minority Leader.  While documents submitted to the committees are public records, there is no convenient way for Coloradans who are interested in the proceedings, but don't have time to travel to the State Capitol, to review the documents.  Ethics Watch has obtained copies of the public files of the two committees and is pleased to be able to make them available to the public at coloradoforethics.org.

January 21 - Ethics Watch has added the Joint Ethics Committee supplemental file made available on January 16 to the "Related Documents" file on this page.

January 22 - Ethics Watch has added the e-mail provided to the Joint Ethics Committee shortly before its January 16 hearing and the remaining documents reviewed by the House Ethics Committee at its January 20 hearing.

January 26 - Ethics Watch has added Rep. Balmer's January 23, 2009 submission to the House Ethics Committee.
