CSU Governor Says Open Selection Was 'Un-Christian'

PUEBLO, Colo. -- Audiotape of a secret meeting held by the Colorado State University board of governors captures the board's chairman saying efforts to open up its selection of a system chancellor struck him as "un-Christian."

Chairman Doug Jones can be heard on the tape of a May 5 closed-door meeting released after a state district judge ruled in June that the CSU board violated the state's open meeting laws.
