Ruling on corporations' political spending expected to impact Colorado races

The Supreme Court's decision to strike down longstanding bans on political spending by corporations and labor unions likely will have a major impact on this fall's elections in Colorado.

"I would assume that corporate money now, as in recent cycles, will flock to those seats deemed to be most competitive. That would certainly put the (Colorado) Senate seat and the 4th Congressional District in the mix, at least at this point," said Bob Duffy, chairman of the political science department at Colorado State University.
